CBFC Demands Changes in Film Title of 'Mental Hai Kya'
Kangana-Rajkummar starrer Mental Hai Kya has been grabbing eyeballs ever since its poster release. Earlier, the film’s title had sparked controversy and received flak for encouraging the misuse of the word ‘mental’ as a derogatory term. In fact, the Indian Psychiatric Society had demanded a change in the title of the film, following which the film has been submitted to the CBFC and a meeting was called between the petitioner and the applicant.
Now, according to reports, the CBFC has green lit the release of Mental Hai Kya. However, the makers have been asked to make some changes to the title of the film. The new name of the film shall be announced soon. Mental Hai Kya has been granted a U/A certificate and cleared with very minor changes.
