Tara Sutaria to Star in 'RX 100' Remake

Actress Tara Sutaria will be seen starring opposite debutant Ahan Shetty in the upcoming Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu film RX 100.

"The plot of the film is very intriguing. It is a love saga which will leave the audience surprised. It's a stark love story, with both the leads having strong parts. I have seen Tara and Ahan perform together during the rehearsal workshops and they have immense chemistry. We're set to go now," director Milan Luthria said in a statement.

The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to hit the floors soon. Ahan has been training heavily in action sequences for the movie. After the confirmation coming from Tara, the team is now ready to kick-start the project.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said: "We have found our leading lady and I must say that Tara is really a proficient actor. I feel they (Tara and Ahan) will make a really romantic and an interesting pair for the audiences to see. We shall begin shooting from June."

The yet untitled film is being produced under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is presented by Fox Star Studios. It will go on the floors by June this year.

Trailer to Eros Now's Web Series on Modi Is Out

OTT platform Eros Now has released the trailer to its upcoming web series on Narendra Modi. Titled Modi - Journey of a Common Man, the 10-episode show highlights pivotal events in Modi’s life that led to him becoming India’s incumbent prime minister.

The series is helmed by 102 Not Out director Umesh Shukla and produced by Benchmark Pictures. It stars Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma, Mahesh Thakur, Darshan Jariwalla and Makrand Deshpande.

It Will Divide Opinion: Kit Harington on 'Game of Thrones'

Kit Harington believes the ending of "Game of Thrones" will "divide opinion" because it is impossible to please everyone in the audience.

The 32-year-old British actor, who plays Jon Snow in the HBO epic fantasy drama, said the makers have made sure to give a "strong" end to popular series, reported Contactmusic.

''I think it will be strong. But you don't want to mess it up on the very last outing. I haven't watched a single series that has a following like Thrones does where everyone is satisfied with the ending.

"I don't think that it'll be any different with this. I think it will divide opinion," Harington told Emmy magazine.

Nicolas Cage to get married for fourth time

Veteran actor Nicolas Cage is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Erika Koike.

According to court documents obtained by E! online, the 55-year-old actor has applied for a marriage license with Koike in Clark County, Nevada.

The pair first sparked romance rumours in Puerto Rico while he was filming the upcoming action film Primal.

Prior to dating Koike, Cage was married to Alice Kim for ten years, but separated in 2016. Before that he briefly married Lisa Marie Presley in 2002 and Patricia Arquettein the late '90s.

Taapsee as Amrita Pritam and Abhishek as Sahir In Bhansali’s Film?

The idea of a film on writer and poet Amrita Pritam has been in the works for a long time now. While different filmmakers have showed an interest in making a film about Amrita Pritam and her relationship with lyricist and poet Sahir Ludhianvi, it’s Sanjay Leela Bhansali who as reportedly made it to the finishing line and will be producing a film on the life and times of the renowned Punjabi poet.

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, Bhansali’s team has zeroed in on Taapsee Pannu to play the role of Amrita Pritam and Abhishek Bachchan to step into Sahir Ludhianvi’s shoes. The film will be directed by writer-director Jasmeet Reen, whose filmography as a writer includes titles like Force 2 and Fanney Khan.
