The trailer of Kapil Sharma’s upcoming film Firangi promises to be a big improvement over his last flick Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. At least this one seems to have a story!

Set in India’s British past, Firangi revolves around a character named Manga, who serves the British raj and is of the opinion that colonialism is not all evil. He’s a simpleton and goes on about his daily life unaware of the politics around him. Then comes Ishita Dutta as his love interest. Her father refuses Manga’s proposal for his daughter because of his loyalties towards the British crown, something his entire village is frowning upon.
