In March, Salman Khan confirmed that he will be collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Inshallah, which would also star Alia Bhatt. The film would have been the first time the actor and Black director were reuniting after 1999’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, in a huge setback recently, Bhansali productions had confirmed that they won’t be going ahead with the film after a possible tiff between Salman Khan and SLB was reported.

But all hope is not lost. Now, buzz in the industry is that Hrithik Roshan might replace Salman Khan in the Bhansali directorial. Some photographs of both Hrithik and Alia have surfaced which hints that something is cooking. While Alia Bhatt was seen exiting from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, Hrithik was spotted in Juhu near the director’s workplace.

Inshallah was supposed to release on Eid 2020. However, Salman Khan had taken to Twitter some time back to say that the movie release has been postponed. “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!”, the actor wrote.

Immediately after, Bhansali productions also released a statement that read, “Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now. Further announcement will be out soon... God willing.”

The unusual pairing of Salman and Alia attracted a lot of eyeballs, but there is a reason behind the same. The story is of a 40-plus businessman who is carefree and not as serious about his life as men his age would be. His father tells him that he will give him all his wealth only if he falls in love and changes his lifestyle. Salman gets Alia, who plays an aspiring actress, to fool his father. They fake a relationship but in the course of doing so, how they actually fall in love with each other and how their world collides is what the film is all about.
