Yash Raj Films has taken disciplinary action against the Business Head at Y-Films, Ashish Patil. Aditya Chopra’s YRF terminated the services of Patil, who was Vice President of Y-Films with immediate effect, as per a statement released on their official Twitter handle.

2. Kwan Asks Anirban Blah To Step Down After Being Accused of Sexual Misconduct

Anirban Das Blah, the founder of Kwan Entertainment, has been asked to step aside from his duties, activities and responsibilities after sexual harassment allegations against the talent manager emerged. Kwan released a statement to support the #MeToo movement and gave details about the PoSH committee the company has set up.

Former clients and aspirants have come out with allegations against Anirban, founder of one of the most renowned celebrity management companies. Four survivors spoke to Mid Day about their ordeals.

3. Revolutions Have Some Collateral Damage Too: Varun Grover

Screenwriter, comedian and lyricist Varun Grover had released a detailed statement earlier denying the allegations against him. He claimed that they are a defamatory tactic to silence his voice and hamper the #MeToo movement.

He took to social media on Tuesday, 16 October to write a note titled ‘Seeking Closure’ that elaborates on how revolutions have some collateral damage too.

4. Amitabh-Aamir Shake a Leg in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ Song ‘Vashmalle’

Thugs of Hindostan’s newest song ‘Vashmalle’ (meaning to dance your heart out and make merry) features Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s chemistry. The song has been composed by duo Ajay-Atul. Sukhwinder Singh and Vishal Dadlani have given the vocals and Amitabh Bhattacharya has written the lyrics.

5. AR Rahman Directs SRK In Official Hockey World Cup Video

AR Rahman has directed Shah Rukh Khan for the first time for the video of the official Hockey World Cup 2018 song that’s titled ‘Jai Hind Hind, Jai India’. The song has been composed by Rahman with lyrics by Gulzar.

The Chak De! India star posted a photo of the two on the sets of their shoot on Twitter.
