Despite competition from Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit starrer Total Dhamaal has earned a tidy sum at the box office, collecting Rs 62.40 crore on its opening weekend.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is Ajay Devgn’s biggest non-holiday release.

Gully Boy has earned itself thousands of fans since its premiere, including Amitabh Bachchan who recently sent a handwritten note of appreciation to Siddhant Chaturvedi, aka MC Sher who mentor’s Ranveer’s character in the film.
