In a new video clip going viral on Twitter, actor Priyanka Chopra is seen responding to a disgruntled Pakistani fan, saying that she does not prefer war between India and Pakistan but she is patriotic and has to straddle a middle ground.

The fan had asked her if she was encouraging war between the two nuclear nations and said that Priyanka had a lot of Pakistani fans like herself. The incident took place at Beautycon in Los Angeles where Priyanka was part of a panel on Saturday, 10 August. Beautycon is a hugely popular fashion, beauty and lifestyle event.

2. Anurag Kashyap Exits Twitter After Threat to Parents, Daughter

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has said that he is leaving the popular social media platform Twitter after his parents received threat calls and his daughter was threatened online. A few users on Twitter took a screenshot of Kashyap’s last tweet and posted it on their timeline. In his statement Kashyap says, “When your parents start to get calls and your daughter gets online threats you know that no one wants to talk. There isn’t going to be reason or rationale. Thugs will rule and thuggery will be the new way of life. Congratulations everyone on this new India & hope you all thrive. Wish you all the happiness and success. This would be my last tweet as I leave Twitter. When I won’t be allowed to speak my mind without fear then I would rather not speak at all. Good bye.

US Pop star Miley Cyrus and Australian The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth have split just seven months after they tied the knot.

The on-again, off-again couple married in a private ceremony in December last year. The couple first started dating in 2010 after meeting on the sets of Nicholas Sparks film The Last Song.

A representative of the ‘Party in the USA’ singer confirmed the news to People magazine.

4. Kriti Gives Ayushmann a Surprise Celebrating National Award Win

A day after he won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the hit thriller AndhaDhun, Ayushmann Khurrana received a surprise party on the sets of an ad he was shooting with Luka Chuppi star Kriti Sanon.

The entire team of the ad shoot had set up a special surprise along with the announcement of his National Award. In this exclusive video from the set, Ayushmann is seen greeted with tremendous applause as he enters the room. He quickly blows out the candles on a chocolate cake presented to him, cuts a slice and feeds Kriti. Kriti then returns the favour. Ayushmann looks extremely happy and flashes two thumbs up before holding his hands together and taking a bow.

5. Jacqueline Gets Special Birthday Wish from ‘13 Reasons Why’ Stars

Jacqueline Fernandez, who turned 34 on Sunday 11 August, got a special birthday wish from the stars of Netflix’s popular teen drama series 13 Reason Why Timothy Granaderos, Alisha Boe, Christian Navarro and Justin Prentice. The four actors wished Jacqueline a happy birthday and welcomed her to the ‘Netflix family’ since she going to make her streaming debut on the platform soon with Mrs Serial Killer. Apparently, Jacqueline is a huge fan of 13 Reasons Why as well.

Netflix India posted the video on their Instagram page and wrote, “Happy birthday, @jacquelinef143. There'll always be more than 13 reasons why we love you.” “We can give you 13 reasons and more to love our show, but today we want to show our love for a very special fan all the way from India,” the four stars are seen saying in the video.
