1. Sidharth’s ‘Marjaavaan’ Trailer Is a Physics-Defying Cringefest
The trailer for Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan has released and the only way to really describe it is over the top. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, it serves up hammy 80s-style action sequences that would make Mithun da proud, and plenty of cringeworthy dialogues. Marjaavaan has marks the second collaboration between Sidharth and Riteish after Ek Villain, whose dialogues were also written by Zaveri. The opening of the trailer introduces us to Sidharth Malhotra who, judging by his fondness for filmy dialogues, we can only assume serves gravity-defying justice on his way to his local shayari meet-up.

2. Watch Robert De Niro De-Age in Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman’ Trailer
Ahead of the film’s premiere at the New York Film Festival, Netflix has released a new trailer for Martin Scorsese’s latest gangster film The Irishman. Starring Scorsese muse Robert De Niro, the film is based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brand, and looks at the life of Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran who became a mob hitman and allegedly played a role in the disappearance of labour union leader Jimmy Hoffa in 1975. The cast also features Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Ray Romano.

3. US Army Warns Against Incel Violence During ‘Joker’ Screening
The US Army has issued a warning to service members about the potential threat of mass shootings at screenings of Warner Bros’ Joker, which releases worldwide on 4 October. Gizmodo reports that an email dated 18 September asked service members to take precautionary measures when entering theatres. In the event of a shooting they were instructed to “Run if you can. If you’re stuck, hide, and stay quiet. If a shooter finds you, fight with whatever you can.”

4. ‘Why Hasn’t Kerala Been Modi-fied Yet?’ John Abraham Answers
From Madras Café to Batla House, actor John Abraham is known for the scripts he chooses. On Thursday, at the launch of the book The God Who Loved Motorbikes, John Abraham spoke about why Kerala hasn’t been ‘Modi-fied’ yet and shared his childhood memories from the state.
While at the book launch, the moderator for the event, Namrata Zakaria, said that though she didn’t know about John’s political leanings, she asked the actor why he thinks his home state hasn’t been ‘Modi-fied’ yet and what makes Keralites different from the rest. To this, John replied, “That’s the beauty about Kerala. You can see a temple, a mosque and a church within 10 metres of each other peacefully co-existing without any problem whatsoever. There’s absolutely no issue there. With the entire world getting very polarised, Kerala is an example of a place where religions and communities can co-exist so peacefully. ”

5. ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 3’ Contestant Kavin to Walk out With Rs 5 Lakhs?
With new twists every now and then, Bigg Boss Tamil 3 is getting more interesting in its final days. On the 94th day, it was announced that the winner of this season will be awarded Rs 50 lakhs. However, there is a catch. Bigg Boss gave an opportunity to the contestants to take home Rs 5 lakhs, but if any of them intended to take the amount, they should exit the house immediately.
One of the contestants, Kavin, was seen getting ready to take the offer when the other contestants tried to convince him to stay back in the house till the finale.
