1. Salman Khan Changes Film Title from ‘LoveRatri’ to ‘LoveYatri’
Salman Khan has given in to certain Hindu right wing groups who were protesting against the title of his upcoming production LoveRatri, which features his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. The actor announced a change in the film’s title from LoveRatri to LoveYatri.
Last week a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur region ordered an FIR to be filed against Salman Khan and seven others for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments with the title LoveRatri. Earlier, certain groups including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had demanded that the makers change the title of the film as it “hurt Hindu sentiments”.

2. Akshay Kumar Took the ‘Sui Dhaaga’ Challenge but Couldn’t Make It
Actors Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan threw down a challenge to their friends and fans, on Monday, 17 September, in a unique style.
The challenge is a part of the promotion campaign for their upcoming film ‘Sui Dhaaga’. The movie releases on September 28.

3. ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ First Look: Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira
The first looks of the characters of Thugs of Hindostan are being released one by one. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film boasts a formidable star cast with Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The first look of Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira in Thugs of Hindostan is out. She is seen as a warrior princess with “fire in her heart”, and ready to shoot an arrow midst burning forts.

4. Anurag Kashyap Reacts to Manmarziyaan’s Smoking Controversy
A scene in Anurag Kashyap’s latest film Manmarziyaan has reportedly left some members of the Sikh community disgruntled. A Sikh organisation filed a petition against the film in the Jammu wing of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Tuesday, 18 September, pushing the director to issue a clarification.
A scene in the film shows Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan) removing his turban before going away from his house for a smoke. Since Sikhism prohibits smoking or the use of tobacco, the scene caused a controversy and was deleted from the film’s screenings in Punjab. Anurag took to twitter to respond to it.

5. Taimur Celebrates Ganpati With a Play Date With His Mamas
Bollywood celebs are celebrating the Ganpati festival along with the rest of Mumbai. And so is little Taimur Ali Khan. He celebrated the festival with mother Kareena Kapoor at her aunt Rima Jain’s house. Kareena’s cousins Armaan and Aadar Jain were busy playing with the little one and shared some moments on social media.
