1. Newest Member Lakshya Joins Kartik & Janhvi in ‘Dostana 2’
Dostana was quite well-liked by most people, and Dharma gave us a pleasant surprise some time back when it announced a sequel to the film. Directed by Collin D’Cunha, Dostana 2 will star Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The third lead was kept under wraps for quite some time, but now the cat is out of the bag. He is a newcomer and his name is Lakshya.

2. Karan, Sahher Debut in Sunny Deol Directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas
The trailer for Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, starring Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba, dropped on 5 August. The film is directed by Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and marks the debut of his son Karan as well as Sahher.
The trailer begins with a typical boy-meets-girl scenario. Karan and Sahher’s characters seem to be on an adventure together. As they become more familiar with each other, they start to fall in love. Their week-long adventure is their paradise, but real life is not. The trailer is filled with cliche dialogues and from the looks of it, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas seems like a run-of-the-mill Bollywood romance with nothing new to offer.

3. Watch Manoj Bajpayee as The Family Man Who’s Actually a Deadly Spy
Imagine Manoj Bajpayee as a middle-class guy with a government job doing his 9 to 5 and returning home to his wife and kids - makes for a pretty boring character, right? Now imagine him doubling up as a world-class spy who’s taking out terrorists without his family knowing about it - that’s interesting. Amazon Prime Video’s new original series The Family Man has Bajpayee doing just this.
The Family Man is touted to be an edgy action-drama series, with a dose of satirical humour, that tells the story of a middle-class guy who works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency.

4. Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor Swing to the Beats of ‘Ghungroo’
The first song from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War, Ghungroo, is out and it is quite pacy. Hrithik and Vaani Kapoor groove to the beats of the song. Ghungroo borrows a couple of lines from Pankaj Udhas’ gazal Ghungroo Toot Gaye, and adds a new twist to it. The lines are, “Main itna zor se naachi aj ke ghungroo toot gaye.”
Set in an exotic locale, Hrithik romances Vaani Kapoor in the party track. Not surprisingly, Hrithik also flaunts his dancing skills.

5. Ariana Grande Sues Forever 21 for Using ‘Look-Alike Model’ in Ads
Fashion retailer Forever 21 is being sued for at least $10 million by pop star Ariana Grande for using her ‘look-alike’ in their branding campaigns to ‘suggest to the public an affiliation between the brand and her.’ In the complaint, Ariana has alleged that after she declined to participate in an endorsement deal in early 2019, Forever 21 and its sister brand, Riley Rose, used her “name, likeness and other intellectual property to promote their brands for free”.
She had earlier turned down the deal because the compensation offered by Forever 21 for proposed social media marketing was ‘insufficient for an artist of her nature’.
