1. ‘War’ Becomes Bollywood’s Biggest Opener, Earns Rs 53.35 Cr
Tiger Shroff, hit the big screen across India on 2 October. It is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Vaani Kapoor. One of the most anticipated action-thrillers of 2019, War is the story of an Indian soldier, Khalid (Tiger), who is assigned to eliminate a senior agent and his mentor Kabir (Hrithik) as he has gone rogue.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, War surpassed the opening day collection of both Salman Khan’s Bharat as well as Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal by raking in Rs 53.35 crore. So far, War is Bollywood’s biggest opener ever. It released on 4000 screens across India in 3 languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.

Akshay Kumar has shared the first glimpse of his look from his upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb, calling his character one he is “both excited and nervous about”. 3. 2 People Arrested for Threatening Salman Khan on Social Media
According to a Jodhpur police station, two people have been arrested for threatening actor Salman Khan on social media. New agency ANI reported that the two who had been arrested were taken in for interrogation. Praveen Acharya, CI, Chopasani Police station, has said that the arrested were doing it for “cheap popularty” and are also a part of a car theft ring.
