1. ‘Chhichhore’ Grosses 133 Cr, Becomes Sushant’s Highest Earner
Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore has beated MS Dhoni: The Untold Story to become Sushant Singh Rajput’s highest earner at the box office to date. Chhichhore, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, has been a steady earner since its release on 6 September. The college comedy has collected Rs 133.53 crore at the box office in three weeks.

2. ‘Housefull 4’ Trailer: Akshay, Riteish Take You on a Chaotic Ride
It’s time when Akshay Kumar fans took a break from his patriotic films and laugh to his comic timing again. The Housefull 4 trailer is out where he will be seen in a comic role, much like the previous Housefull movies. Alongside Akshay Kumar, we’ll see Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kirti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde.
The trailer sees Kriti, Pooja and Kirti as princesses of Sitamgarh in 1419, with Akshay and Bobby as princes and Riteish as a dance teacher. With Akshay remembering their previous life and attempting to align it with their current one, a chaotic situation arises leaving us in splits.

3. Kamal Haasan Denies Producer’s Claim That He Borrowed 10 Crore
Actor Kamal Haasan’s production company Raaj Kamal Films has denied all allegations by producer Gnanavel Raja. On Thursday 26 September, Gnanavel had filed a complaint at the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) accusing Kamal of not repaying Rs 10 crore which he had allegedly borrowed at the time of the release of the 2015 film Uttama Villain.
Raaj Kamal Films released a statement in response on Twitter. “This rumour has been instigated now to deliberately tarnish the image of Mr Kamal Haasan” the statement read.

5. Hindutva Groups Protest Film They Believe to Be About Tipu Sultan
Some Hindutva groups in Tamil Nadu have disrupted filming of action-comedy Sulthan, because they assumed it was a biopic on Tipu Sultan. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and stars Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna.
According to a report by The Indian Express, the film was being shot near an Archaeological Survey of India-protected site when some members of the Hindu Munnani and BJP arrived at the location and began staging some protests.
