3. ‘Pakeezah’ Actor Geeta Kapoor Breathes Her Last at Old Age Home

Veteran Bollywood actress Geeta Kapoor, who shot into the limelight for her role in the classic Pakeezah, breathed her last in a Mumbai old age home on Saturday morning, a family friend said.

She was 67 and had been living in the old age home after she was reportedly abandoned by her son and daughter last year.

She had acted in around 100 films in supporting roles/characters, including prominent ones in Kamal Amrohi's films Pakeezah, Razia Sultan.

4. ‘Parmanu’ & ‘Bucket List’ off to a Flying Start at the Box Office

John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran has gotten off to a good start in its opening weekend. The Abhishek Sharma directorial has already raked in Rs 12.46 crores on its second day.

“Solid word of mouth catches up… SUPERB 58.51% growth for #Parmanu on Day 2… Biz is likely to be affected today [evening onwards] due to IPL finals… A strong hold on Mon could make up for revenue loss… Fri 4.82 cr, Sat 7.64 cr. Total: ₹ 12.46 cr [1935 screens]. India biz,” said Trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

5. This Is How Sunil Dutt’s House was Recreated for the Film ‘Sanju’

This film has become one of the most talked-about films of the year and with every poster release, the buzz just becomes stronger.

You saw the recent poster of Sanju, in which Sunil Dutt is holding his son Sanjay in his arms. What you have not seen is how director Rajkumar Hirani recreated Sanjay Dutt’s old house where he lived with his parents.

While we all know that the house is no longer there, the director took help from the yesteryear actor’s sister Priya Dutt to recreate the same house for the shooting of the film. He personally reached out to Priya who further helped him with photographs and home videos of their ancestral home.
