Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl seems to be having a dream run at the box office. The film has earned Rs 101.40 crore in 11 days since its release on 13 September, making it his second film to cross Rs 100 crores after 2018’s Badhaai Ho, and his fastest film to do so. Dream Girl is also Ayushmann’s sixth consecutive hit.
Dream Girl, which was made on a budget of Rs 30 crores, raked in Rs 10.05 crores on its first day, making it Ayushmann’s highest opener till date – Badhaai Ho earned Rs 7.35 crore on day 1. By day 4, it had made Rs 52 crores. Considering the film’s box office performance so far, the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial is well on its way to crossing the lifetime business of Badhaai Ho, which is Ayushmann’s highest earner so far at a total box office collection of Rs 134.46 crores.
