Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter-starrer Dhadak has crossed Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. Opening on 20 July with Rs 8.71 crore, the film earned Rs 33.76 crore in its first weekend. By the first week, it crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India.

Dhadak has been the most commercially successful film starring Bollywood debutants, comfortably surpassing Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra’s Student of the Year.
Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma productions. It is an adaptation of the Marathi film, Sairat.
