Sacred Games stars Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte are ready with their next Bollywood release Baazaar, which also stars Chitrangada Singh. Directed by Gauravv K Chawla and written by Nikhil Advani, the film which revolves around the game of money, would also be introducing Rohan Mehra, late actor Vinod Mehra’s son.
The trailer shows Saif Ali Khan aka Shakun Kothari as a ruthless businessman whose world revolves around money and the power that comes with it. Spouting occasional Gujarati, the actor is bang on in his sinister suaveness, as he pulls the strings of the stock market and other players - brought to life by Rohan, Radhika and Chitrangada.
Check out the trailer of Baazaar here:
Baazaar releases on 26 October.
In Baazaar, Saif plays Shakun Kothari, who is “loved by some, envied by many, feared by everyone”.
Chitrangada Singh plays his wife Mandira Kothari, who is the “perfect wife & a perfect mother”.
Radhika Apte plays the ambitious Priya Malhotra who always “gets what she wants”.
Would Baazaar revive Saif Ali Khan’s flagging Bollywood career? After all, the actor hasn’t had a hit since Race 2 (2013).
