2. Kangana Takes a Dip In Ganga, Launches Her New Film ‘Manikarnika’

Kangana Ranaut launched the first poster of her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi on the banks of the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. The actor performed a Ganga aarti even as fans went berserk all around.

The poster focuses on the battle-lit eyes of a turbaned Kangana, who plays Rani Lakshmibai in the film.

3. Lion’s Sunny Pawar Is the Rising Star at 7th Annual Asian Awards

Child actor Sunny Pawar, best known for his performance in the Oscar-nominated film Lion, has been chosen for the Rising Star Award. The award will be presented to Sunny at the 7th Annual Asian Awards on Friday, the organisers have announced.

Sunny, who grew up in the Mumbai slums, shot to global fame with his role in the Australian drama where he worked alongside award-winning actors Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. He was cast as young Saroo Brierley in the true life drama.

4. Kannada Actor Rekha Sindhu Killed in Road Accident Near Vellore

Kannada and Tamil television actor Rekha Sindhu was killed in a car accident early on Friday morning near Vellore in Tamil Nadu.

She was traveling for a shoot to Chennai and died on the spot, while others traveling with her were injured.

The incident occurred at around 2.30am on the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway.

5. Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed Are Expecting Their First Child

Actors Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are expecting their first child together. The couple took to social media to share an identical photograph on social media to confirm the news.

Twilight star Reed wrote a note to the baby wondering “how it is possible to love someone so much already”.
