Arjun Kapoor is one helluva busy actor. The young Kapoor is currently facing the camera for Namastey England with Parineeti Chopra. He’s already wrapped up a hectic shoot for Dibakar Banjerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar with Parineeti as co-star again. All this, while Arjun is also gearing up to start on Ashutosh Gowariker’s big budget period film Panipat with Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. Phew!
But that’s not it, news is out that the Ishaqzaade actor has been chosen to star in the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Premam. The original film had the charming Nivin Pauly as the protagonist who goes through three phases in his love life as a schoolboy, a college student and a working adult.
Now, the search is on for the three female leads of the Hindi remake of Premam (and we hope Parineeti Chopra isn’t one of them, again). Nivin Pauly had the audience eating out of his hand in the Malayalam Premam, the film was later remade in Telugu. Will Arjun Kapoor suit the role of a guy who comes-of-age as he goes through three different stages of love in his life? Or would you rather watch Varun Dhawan doing it? Or better still introduce Nivin Pauly to the Bollywood audience? It might be too late to vote on this one.
