We already told you Anil Kapoor is all set to play a failed singer and his Taal heroine Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father in the upcoming Fanney Khan. But that’s not all. The actor is all set to debut as a playback singer in the film as well.
According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Anil Kapoor would be lending his voice to two numbers in the Atul Manjrekar film. The makers are keen to make the film “as real as possible” - which is why they want Kapoor to sing.
But realistic as he is, Anil Kapoor says he would be the first to “reject” the songs if he thinks his “voice is not up to the mark”.
Apparently, Kapoor is trained in semi-classical music and would now resume his riyaaz every morning for Fanney Khan.
Fanney Khan is the official Hindi remake of the Oscar-nominated Dutch film Everybody’s Famous! and also stars Aishwarya Rai and Rajkummar Rao.
