Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted to Lilavati hospital on 9 February, wrote a poem on his blog upon being discharged.

Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai confirmed that was Big B was admitted and sources suggested that it might be a routine check-up. Later in the night he was spotted leaving the hospital with his son, Abhishek Bachchan.

Big B later took to social media to assure his fans that he was fine and was back home. The superstar penned down a poem about his visit to the hospital on his blog.

The poem which is in Hindi actually talks about his experience of visiting the hospital. In the poem, he equated the doctors who treat human beings for all kinds of diseases to God and wished for their well being. He also talked about his experience with the photographers who were gathered outside the Lilavati Hospital to click a photo of him. If you see the pictures, you can seen Bachchan hiding his face with his skull cap. Well, he gave an explanation to that as well. He expressed his fear of going blind because of the flashlight of the cameras.

Speaking about his health, a few years ago, Big B made the startling revelation that when he contracted the Hepatitis B virus while undergoing treatment after an accident on the sets of Coolie, 25% of his liver had been destroyed.

On the work front, we recently got to witness the teaser of his film 102 Not Out with co-star Rishi Kapoor. The film is based on a Gujarati play by the same name and is touted as ‘the most unusual father and son love story’.
