Ranveer Singh’s big release Simmba hits theatres on Friday, 28 December. If you’ve seen the trailer, it’s no secret that Rohit Shetty’s original macho cop Ajay Devgn aka Singham also makes an appearance in the film. Ajay Devgn makes a dramatic entry in the climax of the film to help Ranveer Singh aka Simmba beat the bad guys. Devgn is seen crashing into the villain’s den in his police jeep and making a heroic entry in slow motion to a high decibel background score - all the elements of a typical Rohit Shetty scene.

It can now be confirmed that Akshay Kumar too makes an appearance in Simmba. Ajay Devgn is seen talking to Akshay Kumar as the film ends and Khiladi Kumar is introduced as an ATS chief named Sooryavanshi. As Akshay finishes his phone call and turns to the camera in slow motion, we see “Sooryavanshi - taking charge in 2019” blaze across the screen.
