The full song of Zaira Wasim’s Secret Superstar finally released on Monday. Main Kaun Hoon, which has been sung by Meghna Mishra captures the essence of the film.
Zaira Wasim, who plays the lead in the film, dons her burqa and croons through her web channel. Penned by Kausar Munir and sung by 16-year-old Meghna Mishra, the song is full of the protagonist’s angst about not being able to live her dreams.

Secret Superstar revolves around the story of a young Muslim girl from Baroda who dreams of becoming a star singer. Fighting against her father’s old-fashioned strictures, she secretly takes to social media to share her music with the world - all thanks to the encouragement she receives from sleazy-superstar-singer Shakti Kumar aka Aamir Khan.
Secret Superstar releases on 19 October.
