Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar and Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again are clashing at the box-office this weekend following the festival of lights, Diwali (19 October).
Both films have very different offerings reportedly have a 50:50 ratio at the multiplexes. But apparently, Golmaal Again has been going houseful while Secret Superstar has had a slow start at the box-office.
Though, according to trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, Secret Superstar is expected to pick up due to positive word of mouth.
But according to a report in DNA, Aamir Khan is “arm twisting and blackmailing the multiplex chains that if 50% of the screens aren't allotted to Secret Superstar, he won't let any of his other major films (the next one being Thugs of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan) screen there”.
According to experts, this may affect Golmaal Again’s overall box-office collections.
