‘The most unusual father and son love story’ is how 102 Not Out is being touted and it certainly seems to be one. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor (who have come together for a film after 27 years), 102 Not Out is a touching tale of a 102-year-old father (Amitabh Bachchan) and his 75-year-old son, (Rishi Kapoor) who try to break a world record.
A new poster of the film was released on 23 March with ‘Baap Cool’ Amitabh Bachchan, and ‘Beta Old School’ Rishi Kapoor.
The film is based on a Gujarati play by the same name. Take a look at the teaser here:
102 Not Out is directed by Umesh Shukla, and is based on the play by Saumya Joshi a Gujarati poet, writer, playwright, director, and actor. The play is about a 102-year-old, who has set out to break the record of the oldest man alive (currently held by a Chinese man) and is hilariously aided by his 75-year-old son.
The film sees Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor reunite on screen after 27 years. Earlier, they have been seen in various classics, such as Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb, Coolie, and Ajooba.
102 Not Out is set for release on 4 May 2018.
This is one to watch, folks!
