David Guetta is all geared up to perform in Hyderabad city on Saturday at Hitex Exhibition Centre in Gachibowli after his concert in Bengaluru was cancelled. His Mumbai concert was also set to be cancelled, but is now on.
To welcome him, Cyberabad Police Commissioner posted on Twitter on Friday evening:
The organisers are expecting between 4,000 to 5,000 people to attend the event, including a some celebrities.
“We have absolute support from the government of Telangana as these kind of large format events add to the soft power of the city. Telangana wants to ramp up its presence and act like a magnet for events like Sunburn, Sensation, Tomorrowland, NH7 etc.,” Vijay Amritraj, local partner for the Sunburn event in Hyderabad told The Hindu.
The two-time Grammy award-winning EDM star was supposed to perform in Bengaluru, but his show cancelled for not meeting safety and security requirements.
The EDM star’s Hyderabad fans are waiting to see their favourite artiste on stage and groove to the music.
“We have received official confirmation from police, with the Cyberabad commissioner himself tweeting that the event will go on as per schedule. It’s good news for all David Guetta fans in the city,” a spokesperson for the event told The New Indian Express.
