The cast and crew of Udta Punjab released Ikk Kudi, the second song from the upcoming film’s soundtrack. In contrast to the peppy Chitta Ve, this soft and melodious number is a dreamy Punjabi love song, picturised on Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. It was exciting to hear Alia sing a few lines from the song.

In the video itself she’s seen playing hockey with a bunch of girls. We have to say, she’s good behind the mic as she is on camera.

The song was released at an event organised at Fun Republic in Mumbai. Most of the film’s cast and crew attended, though Shahid Kapoor was missing in action. Diljit Dosanjh joined in via video conference. Not only is he playing the part of a police officer in the film, but he’s also the voice of the romantic number Ikk Kudi.
