Abhishek Bachchan is all set to mark his on-screen digital debut with Amazon Prime Video’s web series Breathe 2. Amit Sadh will return to the series in his role as Kabir Sawant. The show will continue to be directed by Mayank Sharma.
Amazon Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment announced season two of the web-series, after the first successful season starring R Madhavan.
Abhishek Bachchan has lent his voice to the character Bagheera in Netflix’s Mowgli. The actor also starred in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan.
Abhishek made his acting debut in 2000 with Refugee. He was later seen in commercially successful films like Yuva, Dhoom, Guru, Happy New Year and Sarkar.
Asked if he believes stardom comes with a price tag, Abhishek told IANS: "Of course. Everything comes with a price tag. There is sacrifice in everything you do. To gain something, you have to give up something and the law of nature is as simple as that. But it's fine and good."
And when he was asked about his filmography, he said, "No. I don't think any actor is happy with their filmography. The tragedy of a filmography is that these are the things that have happened in the past. You need to look towards newer horizons, you need to look forward... you need to continue to strive and better yourself. So, I don't think any actor is satisfied. The day an actor is satisfied is kind of a death of the creativity within you.”
