ABC has cancelled the Priyanka Chopra starrer, Quantico. According to a report in Variety, Quantico and other shows on the network including Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Designated Survivor and Lucifer have been cancelled.
As per Nielsen’s live-plus-same day number report, Quantico is averaging a rating of 0.5 for the 18-49 age demographic, with 2.3 million total viewers. Currently, the show is airing its third season and going by this report, will not be returning for a fourth season.
Priyanka Chopra might also be ready to say goodbye to her first American TV series. When actor Kal Penn suggested they do a movie after learning of the show’s cancellation, PeeCee replied in the affirmative.
Quantico had undergone various creative changes over the course of three seasons, after Michael Seitzman took over from Joshua Safran as the show-runner for the third season.
Along with Quantico, hit show Brooklyn Nine-Nine has also been axed, much to the chagrin of the viewers. Shows like Inhumans, Alex, Inc and The Crossing are also similarly fated.
Chopra is all set to make her Bollywood comeback after a long hiatus with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, and will be seen opposite Salman Khan very soon.
