The album boast of five tracks by multiple music composers like Amaal Malik, Akhil Sachdeva, Bappi Lahiri and Tanishk Bagchi and lyricists in Shabbir Ahmed, Kumaar, Akhil Sachdeva, Indeevar and Badshah.

Bareilly Ki Barfi

The music of the Ayushmann Khurana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao starrer weaved the laidback small-town vibe of its setting in its verse and melody.

Half Girlfriend

The compositions of the Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer are more likely to tug at the heartstrings of those who are swayed by songs of longing and separation. Tanishk Bagchi seems to be the flavour of the award season!

Jab Harry Met Sejal

With lyrics by Irshad Kamil, and singer Arijit Singh headlining most of the tracks, the hit soundtrack of the film outlasted the film at the box office. A celebratory Punjabi song, a few breezy romantic tracks for the road, a club song and a catchy Radha make for memorable songs in a tepid film.

Secret Superstar

It’s only fitting that the film about a young Muslim girl, aspiring to become a singer but faced with restrictions from her conservative father, be nominated for its music album. Though not Amit Trivedi’s best, the easy rhyme and simple melody complements the spirit of the film.
