Karan Johar and Mira Rajput recently met up at a book launch in Mumbai and spoke about turning parents for the first time. Remember, Shahid Kapur and Mira had their baby girl Misha in August 2016, while Karan became a parent to twins Roohi and Yash in February earlier this year.
Speaking about being a first-time parent at the event, Karan said, "It's daunting. It's exhilarating. It's shocking in my case as well. It's just everything that I thought it would be and yet everything that’s not. I still look at them and can't believe they are mine and I'm just blessed every morning, literally by their presence."
The filmmaker then went on to say that he hoped Roohi and Misha would be best friends while also complimenting Mira, “And to Mira, I have to say, she’s the gorgeous youngest mother I know. And I can’t wait for my daughter Roohi to be best friends with her daughter Misha.”
Karan also made a comment on how he thought some leading actresses become paranoid as parents, "I have decided that I am not going to be a hysterical, hyper parent because I see so many of them around me. And especially the leading actresses who become mothers, I think something happens to them, they become from leading actresses to paranoid parent. And I feel I don't want to be like them."
We wonder who exactly is Karan referring to here.
