xXx: Return of Xander Cage, starring our very own Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel, is raking in the moolah like nobody’s business. It has become the highest grossing film worldwide in 2017 with a collection of more than $310 million. That is more than roughly Rs 2,000 crore.
According to Box Office Mojo, the action film which marked Dippy’s Hollywood debut, has been released by Paramount Pictures in 3,651 theatres across the world and has been doing steady business. It has raked in more than $137 million in China - just two weeks after its release. The film’s India total as of early February stands at Rs 54 crore, 91 per cent of it which came in its opening weekend.
Fifty Shades Darker currently stands at number two with $284 million, while Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga has raked in $246 million with most of the business coming from China.
