While the big Raees versus Sultan clash on Eid 2016 was averted with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer getting delayed, the Raees versus Kaabil collision is still very much happening. Both films were to release on Thursday, 26 January, 2017, but Rakesh Roshan, who wanted to avoid a direct clash with SRK and had mentioned a few days back that he is moving the release date of his home production Kaabil to 25 January.
However now it looks like - the single day window between the two films won’t be happening either. The Raees trailer which was released on Wednesday, clearly shows that Shah Rukh’s film will also be out on 25 January. Now both films will have a 5-day run up to the first weekend to look forward to.
