It’s one of the most watched TV shows, trying to bring us something new every season. This year it’s common man vs celebrities. The concept sounds fun but the high point of the first episode was the one and only – Salman Khan. If not for Salman’s quirky bindaas attitude, the first episode of the show would have fallen flat even with Deepika Padukone making an appearance.
The show started off with Salman taking a few people, who naturally looked like had been paid to be there, around the Bigg Boss house as a guide, followed by a dhamakedar Sallu performance. That’s it. The show’s best part started and ended there.
Deepika Padukone was the first guest on the show. Her act was about some action moves but I guess she had no time to prepare for it so it didn’t do much to uplift the show. The actress was there to launch her Hollywood debut film ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ and even managed to spend a few hours inside the house. But Deepika being Deepika was at her best behaviour and was her diplomatic self again, burdening Salman with the responsibility of being funny and spontaneous. Ufffff.....

Coming to the participants – the celebrity list failed to impress us. Even if I try to dig into their profiles it’s quite difficult to find them except for one or two. Actually ek point pe mujhe celebs he aam aadmi lag rahe the.
