With a Hit Weekend, Is the MS Dhoni Biopic Heading for Rs 300 Cr?

The MS Dhoni biopic earns big numbers at the box-office in its first weekend.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, directed by Neeraj Pandey is having a dream run at the box office. The biopic had the second biggest opening day collection this year after Sultan when it opened to Rs 21.30 cr on Friday. The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer witnessed a slight dip on day two after recording a collection of Rs 20.60 cr on Saturday, but more than made up for it on Sunday by earning Rs 24.10 cr.

The film’s first weekend total now stands at Rs 66 cr and by average estimates, it could end up earning approximately Rs 300 cr in its lifetime.
