In the final phase of elections to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, over 1.41 crore voters spread across 40 constituencies will decide the fate of 535 candidates. Voting in the last leg has begun across 14,458 polling stations, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency, Varanasi, too being seen as a big battleground. In the earlier phases, UP voted for 363 out of 403 Assembly constituencies.
