With a sweeping win in Punjab, AAP has made its maiden victory in the state. The party has won 92 seats out of 117 seats in the Punjab Assembly. Meanwhile, Congress could only manage to win three seats.
Bhagwant Mann, who won the Dhuri seat with a margin of 58206 votes, is set to become Punjab's next Chief Minister.
Several of the opposition heavyweights including INC's Charanjit Singh Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu, former CM Capt Amarinder Singh, SAD's Parkash Singh Badal have lost from their respective constituencies.

AAP wins 92 out of 117 seats in the Punjab Assembly. Meanwhile, Congress manages to win three seats.

Will Focus on Education, Electricity and Water: AAP's Jagdeep Kamboj
After defeating SAD's Sukhbir Singh Badal from Jalalabad, AAP's Jagdeep Kamboj promised a focus on education, electricity and water.

Change Will Be Visible in a Month: Bhagwant Mann
Addressing a crowd of supporters outside his house in Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann standing alongside his mother Harpal Kaur and sister Manpreet Kaur promised a wave of change.
"Now you will not have to go to the offices of government employees. Government officers won’t hinder your work by making excuses. Now the public servants will come to your houses and localities to do their job,” he said.
AAP Wins 89 Seats, Leading in 3 More
With results declared for a majority of seats in Punjab, AAP is all set to form the government having secured 89 seats so far. The party is leading in a further three seats. Congress, meanwhile, is far behind having won just 15 seats and leading in 3 more.
BJP and SAD have secured two and three seats respectively.
The counting of votes is still ongoing in Baba Bakala, Budhlada, Dina Nagar, Raja Sansi, Ludhiana Central constituencies.
