BJP Posts ‘Vote for Mizoram’ With Telangana Map, Gets Mocked

With voting in all the 40 constituencies in Mizoram underway on Wednesday, 28 November, the Bharatiya Janata Party is gaining buzz on social media, but for all the wrong reasons.

A post tweeted by the party’s official Twitter handle to encourage people to “vote for the development of Mizoram” had the map of Telangana attached to it.

Twitter Mocks Error

Although the party deleted the tweet later, tweeple were swift enough to catch the blooper.

Modiji has asked people not to vote for the party which doesn’t understand the difference between moong and masoor daal.

Btw, BJP’s Twitter account had shown Telangana as Mizoram this morning.

Even the Congress’ social media convenor tweeted about it.

First they used Meghalayan head gear and asked for votes for Mizoram, and now this. People of Mizoram , BJP doesn't know anything about your state.
