The phase 2 of the Lok Sabha election 2019 concluded, with over 61 per cent of voter turnout till 5pm. Voting percentages recorded till 5 pm in respective states: Tamil Nadu (63.16%), Jammu and Kashmir (43.37%), Maharashtra (55.37%), Chhattisgarh (71.00%), Manipur (74.69%), Puducherry (78.00%), Assam (73.32%), Bihar (58.14%), Karnataka (64.84%) and West Bengal (76.07%).
The battle for a total of 543 seats started with elections in 91 constituencies across 20 states on April 11. The first phase of Lok Sabha elections saw a voter turnout of 69.43 per cent. The final vote count will be done May 23.

Sixty-six per cent turnout recorded in second phase of Lok Sabha polls, says Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha.
Election 2019 Phase 2 Voting: UP records 62.30% polling till 6 pm
Election Commission figures put the overall voter turnout at 62.30 percent till 6 pm, when polling closed. According to the EC, the polling percentage till 6 pm was:
- 62.10% in Nagina,
- 68.77% in Amroha,
- 62.14% in Bulandshahr,
- 61.25% in Hathras,
- 59.60% in Agra,
- 62.80% in Aligarh,
- 60.56% in Mathura, and
- 61.16% in Fatehpur Sikri.
