CNN News18-IPSOS Exit Poll: Modi Wave to Sweep 2019, UPA to Get 82

The coalition or party that wins more than 271 seats will form the 17th Lok Sabha.

The CNN News18-IPSOS survey predicted that the NDA alliance will get 336 seats, with the BJP alone expected to win 276 seats.

While the other parties like TDP, TRS, SP, BSP are expected to get 124 seats, the Congress party is predicted to win 82 seats.

The Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party (SP-BSP) alliance which is expected to play a key role in government formation, is expected to win only about 17-19 seats. Trinamool Congress is expected to sweep West Bengal, while Naveen Patnaik is likely to emerge victorious in Odisha.

The coalition or party that wins more than 272 seats will form the 17th Lok Sabha.
