Andhra Pradesh recorded a 73 percent voter turnout as of 6 pm, while Arunachal Pradesh recorded a 66 percent turnout till 5 pm. Voter turnout in Sikkim is at 69 percent till 5 pm. Odisha, on the other hand, recorded a 68 percent voter turnout as of 5 pm. However, the final turnout is expected to rise, the Election Commission said.
Zero polling was reported in 15 booths at Chitrakonda and Mathili Block of Malkangiri district in Odisha due to suspected Maoist fear, sources told The Quint .
