US President-elect Donald Trump’s senior adviser Reince Priebus said on Sunday that Republican Mitt Romney is a possible choice for the job of secretary of state. He, however, said that Trump is also looking at other people for the job.
Speaking on the TV news show TODAY, Washington Post political correspondent Philip Rucker says that he thinks Romney is qualified for the position. He further said that South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, another possible choice, is a “blank slate” who might go around travelling countries and propagating Trump’s views because she doesn’t have “her own hardened world view”.
