What does freedom mean to me?
Clearly, physical freedom is very important.
Freedom to move around, to live the way I want to, where I want to.
Those physical freedoms, of course, are very important.
I think equally important, or perhaps even more important, is the mental freedom.
The freedom to challenge orthodoxies.
The freedom to be contrarian in your thought.
The freedom to criticise.
These are some things we take for granted, but when they come under some kind of a constraint, then it becomes important to emphasise how important the freedom of the mind is.
