1. ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ Mints Rs 30 Crore at the Box-Office
Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer, Jab Harry Met Sejal has managed to rake in Rs 30 crore at the box-office.
Even though the performances of the actors have been praised, critics have not been too kind about the film’s loosely tied plot. The Imtiaz Ali film has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 90 crore.
SRK, Anushka and Imtiaz are busy promoting the film in the country post the release as well. We will have to watch if that translates into numbers at the box-office.
2. Dilip Saab Is Doing Much Better Now: Family Tweets Health Update
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalised on Wednesday evening. The actor was admitted to the ICU at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after he reportedly suffered from kidney ailment and dehydration. The Quint spoke to Dilip saab’s family and learnt that he was stable and out of the ICU on Thursday.
The actor’s team tweeted on Dilip’s behalf, speaking about his health.

4. SRK Injures Back During ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ Promotions
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday injured his back while on his way to the city to promote his latest release Jab Harry Met Sejal.
The actor was forced to delay his arrival by flight.
"I am sorry for the delay. I had to get a dressing done as I injured my back today (Saturday)," he said in a telephonic message to waiting reporters.

5. Mental Illness Cannot Be Used for Comic Relief: Kamal on Bigg Boss
Bigg Boss Tamil saw contestant Oviya attempting to commit suicide in order to quit the show. If that wasn’t enough, the reality show hit an all-time low when it asked contestants to “dress up and behave like mentally challenged persons in the recent episodes”.
According to a report in The Indian Express, the host of the show Kamal Haasan threatened to quit the show if they ever set such a task for its contestants again.
No suprisingly, the audience did not take the insensitive task well.
Kamal Haasan voiced his disapproval in no uncertain terms, “The task that made fun of mentally challenged people was not in a good taste. And I’m actually angry about it. We all have social responsibilities”.
