After Saif Ali Khan’s open letter clarifying his stance on nepotism on Friday, Kangana Ranaut penned one herself, to give her two cents to the debate.

In response to Saif’s comment about “breeding” the next generation of actors, Kangana Ranaut says she fails “to understand how you can compare genetically hybrid racehorses to artistes”.

The Queen actress goes on to add that if that were true, she would be a farmer back home. Speaking about his “eugenics” comment, she said,

You also spoke of eugenics -- which means controlled breeding of the human race. So far, I believe that the human race hasn’t found the DNA that can pass on greatness and excellence. If it had, we would’ve loved to repeat the greatness of Einstein, Da Vinci, Shakespeare, Vivekananda, Stephen Hawking, Terence Tao, Daniel Day-Lewis, or Gerhard Richter.

After the CBFC technically “banned” the film, the makers approached the FCAT for a review and were forced to make the following “voluntary” cuts to get a... wait for it - “Adults Only” certificate.

There are a total of 27 cuts listed here, most of which are scenes which show a boy and a girl making love or kissing.

5. “Badly Behaved” Bieber Won’t Be Performing In China Anytime Soon

Canadian pop sensation, Justin Bieber, who has a fairly large fan following around the world, hasn’t managed to make the Chinese government a fan of his music.

When a Chinese fan of the Sorry singer asked why Justin hasn’t made a visit to their country, the response he got from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture was quite, well, funny.

Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer. In order to maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment, it is not suitable to bring in badly behaved entertainers. We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public.
