Salman Khan’s Eid release of 2017, Tubelight could not deliver a box-office hit. According to reports, the distributors were demanding that Salman pay for the losses incurred.
And it seems that Salman has agreed to their demands.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta, tweeted to confirm the report. He wrote, “SalmanKhan has agreed to refund monies to distributors to make up for losses in Tubelight. A lovely gesture. That’s being human!”
According to a report in ANI, Salman will be paying Rs 55 crore to the distributors.
The film has managed to make Rs 114.50 crore at the box-office and is facing competition from Sridevi’s Mom, and also Hollywood flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
