Sonakshi took to Twitter to clear all the hullabaloo around the controversy.

Singers like Armaan Malik and Kailash Kher had issues with Sonakshi Sinha singing at Bieber’s concert.

Kailash Kher, in an interview with IANS, explained why he feels people tend to give more value to actors instead of singers in India.

"I read somewhere that a Canadian singer Justin Bieber is coming to India, and actress Sonakshi will perform at the gig. The news was cute, but quite a lie. It doesn't give a good message internationally," said Kher.

Whenever any singer from the West comes to India, we get an actor on board to match their level. We don’t get singer for another singer, but actor... event managers and producers of entertainment industry are so scared.

Singer Armaan Malik had also tweeted to make his disappointment clear.

Sonakshi, not one to take things lying down, had given Armaan a scathing reply.

As it turns out, Sonakshi had mixed up the composer, Amaal Mallik with the singer, Armaan Mallik. And Armaan was quick to point out the same.

Sonakshi then replied that she recalled the two coming up to her after an event, but later deleted her tweet.

The two artists also later deleted their Twitter argument with Sonakshi.

Armaan and Amaal made their stand clear on the issue.

Sonakshi, made her debut as a singer in 2015 with the single Ishqholic, and also judged the singing reality show, Indian Idol Junior. She also performed at the gig when Coldplay came to India.
