1. Kriti Sanon & Sushant Singh Promise Romance and Action in ‘Raabta’
The trailer of Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Raabta is out and it looks as if karma sagas are back in Bollywood. The good part about this trailer is that we get to see Jim Sarbh again, the terrorist from Neerja plays a pivotal role in the film.
The trailer starts off predictably with Sushant and Kriti as lovebirds, but soon develops into some sort of a reincarnation action drama.
And of course, as expected, you have the famous title track from Agent Vinod making a slightly modified comeback. Watch the trailer here:
2. Mohanlal to Play Bheem in Rs 1,000-Crore ‘Mahabharata’
Bavaguthu Raghuram Shetty, better known as Dr BR Shetty, a UAE-based billionaire businessman and philanthropist is all set to invest Rs 1,000 crore to produce Mahabharata. The multilingual magnum opus - it will be shot primarily in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into major Indian and foreign languages - will be directed by ad man VA Shrikumar Menon. What’s more, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has already been roped in to play Bheem.

Sometimes, people cannot even troll right. If the Snapchat-Snapdeal fiasco was not hilarious enough, the next one will have you splits. Apparently, people have been trolling Sonu SOOD for Sonu NIGAM’s “azaan” tweet. And the Kung Fu Yoga actor is as stumped as we are:
4. Protests Against the Release of ‘Baahubali 2’ in Karnataka
Baahubali: The Conclusion seems to have gotten into some uninvited trouble ahead of its release in Karnataka. Multiple pro-Kannada organisations are asking actor Sathyaraj who plays Kattappa in the film to apologise for a few controversial statements he reportedly made nine years ago.
According to Indian Express, the organisations claim that failure in adhering to this demand for an apology will lead to a ban on the release of Baahubali 2 in Karnataka.
5. Mumbai Court Cancels Non-Bailable Warrant Against Sanjay Dutt
A non bailable warrant had been issued against Sanjay Dutt last week for not appearing in court for a hearing involving allegations made by film producer Shakil Noorani. Dutt’s spokesperson was quick to put out an official statement saying that it had happened due to a miscommunication between the actor and his lawyers. The actor appeared in an Andheri court on Monday and the non bailable warrant against him now stands cancelled.
