The much-awaited teaser of Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurana’s upcoming film, Meri Pyaari Bindu, is out. The teaser begins with an older, bearded Ayushmann, who plays a novelist writing about his lost love - the bubbly, crazy Bindu.
And with the end line of “Pyaar karna bahut log sikhate hai, par afsos, us pyaar ko bhulate kaise hai, yeh sala koi nai sikhata (A lot of people teach how to love. But how to forget that love? Sadly, no one teaches that)” - with the iconic number Abhi na jao chhod kar, dil abhi bhara nahi in Parineeti’s voice playing in the background - the teaser leaves us with just the right dose of suspense.

The setting with cassette players and typewriters is decidedly retro, and the lead pairing looks fresh and vibrant. Check out Twitter is reacting to the teaser:
The poster of the film was released yesterday.
Back with a bang after a long break, both the actors are excited for the film, slated to hit the screens on May 12. Directed by Akshay Roy, the film also marks Parineeti’s singing debut. But we seriously hope, her role is thoda hatke this time. After all, we are sure she can play much more than a bubbly girl-next-door on screen.
