Logan movie reviews are applauding the epic finale to the Hugh Jackman superhero franchise Wolverine. But to us, as a desi filmy janta, the movie gave us a sense of deja vu. The latest X-Men series movie bears a striking resemblance to Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Confused? Well, read on.
The protagonist is a brawny guy, who has little aim in life.
Suddenly, a girl lands out of nowhere. And here’s a fun fact: both the girls have this terrible habit of shoplifting.
The protagonist, who wishes to get rid of the girl, takes the responsibility to ensure her safe return home across the border. And the movie is about this journey, where the protagonist puts everything of his at stake. So raw and much awww.
In their cross-border adventure, they are joined by a man of great intellect, and a good sense of humour. This person is the reason that their journey basically reaches its conclusion.
The supposedly ‘mute’ girl only speaks in the later half of the film. And in both the films, the words are meant for our big, brawny protagonists, who are taken by surprise, much more than India was by demonetisation anyway.
That was pretty much the mash-up that we noticed in Logan. If you think there are more similarities between the two movies, share them in the comments below. Also, share this with Salman Khan fans, and for the love of Hugh Jackman.
