Time is precious. And giving it to save little lives made it priceless!

‘Giving’ is More Than Just Money

Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. This quote resonates with me as it highlights the power of giving. I believe that giving is not limited to monetary gifts. In fact, giving your time can be one of the most precious gifts given to a person. By being part of a fundraiser (CEOs Sing for GF Kids) that supports the treatment of critically ill underprivileged children, I felt connected to the cause. I felt that this was one way I could help a little life live.

An Endeavour for the Future

The future of our country is in the hands of our children. If we can help our children, we can help our nation progress. Helping children who have been robbed of their childhood due to life-threatening diseases can help contribute to the wonderful endeavour started by Genesis Foundation.

Personal is Always Better

Your time is only yours to give. Therefore, it is a personal gift that no one can give on your behalf. I volunteered to give my time because it helped me create a bond that can be cherished for a lifetime since it is a relationship between individuals, not contributions. And when you give, you will realise that the happiness you get in return is beyond comparison!
